Information for attending the online sessions

As an ICED delegate you will receive your personal login access on the Trippus platform.

We kindly ask you to verify you can access the landing page before the conference.

Information for delegates attending the on-site (physical) sessions

A selection of registred ICED delegates who expressed interest to attend physically have been invited,and actively completed their registration . The number of on site delegates is limited to 50  and only invited and confirmed delegates will be able to attend on site.

On Monday 16th, the on-site registration will open at 13.00 CEST at Chalmers Johanneberg Campus in Gothenburg, and the first on-site activity will be the opening session in the main auditorium “Runan”, whereafter the City of Gothenburg and Region Västra Götaland will provide a light, locally produced afternoon meal, before the evening workshop session starts.

We must alert you to the fact that national Pandemic constraints still apply, and our physical movement is constrained compared to a conventional meeting.

Practically at the venue, we would like you to bring your headset to attend your technical session of choice on-line to avoid disturbing neighbours. We have ensured access to electrical power access (220V) and WiFi at the venue. One technical session will always be held in the RunAn auditorium as a “hybrid session”. Lunches will be served seated, as well as coffee breaks. Water and fruit will be available throughout the scheduled events.

List of on-site events

For the participants attending the on-site sessions the ICED21 Organising Committee has organisised the following events:

Boat Tour

Time: Tuesday 17th 2021, 18:00 - 21:30 CET.

Location: The historic Steamboat Bohuslän

Description: Come join us for a beautiful boat tour of the beautiful West coast archipelago of Gothenburg, on board the historic Steamboat Bohuslän! This well-kept vessel is run by the Steamboat Association, a volunteer organization. Food and drinks will be served on-board during the trip. The boat is indoor!

How we get there: A bus to Stenpiren pier departs from Chalmers Library (Campus Johanneberg) at 18:00 for immediate boarding (see photo below). You will have to walk for about 3 minutes.

The boat departs from Stenpiren at 18:30. Return to the pier at 21:30, where a bus will be available for transport to Chalmers Campus.

Chalmers Campus Tour

Time: 10.00 CET, Wednesday 18 August, 2021

Location: RunAn, Chalmers Conference Centre Campus Johanneberg

Description: Presentation of William Chalmers – the founder of the university – followed by a walk around the Johanneberg Campus

Conference Dinner

Drop in from 19:30. 

Dinner starts 20:00

 

Location: Lisebergs Wärdshus

Description: Pre-covid-19 we planned for a conference dinner at the amusement park Liseberg with dinner on different restaurants, games, entertainment and roller coaster -  “Design in motion”. 

But now we welcome you to a smaller conference dinner in one of the oldest buildings at Liseberg, Wärdshuset. Everything in the kitchen is prepared with the finest ingredients of the season and whenever possible using local, organic products.

How to get there: There is no trasnport organized for this event. The delegate needs to arrive at Liseberg by own means (Walk, taxi or public transport).

Go to the Guest service (to the left of the big entrance) and show your name badge or tell them that you are from Chalmers and they will let you in.
